PPS Motor 225 & PPS Handle
An electric assist system, retrofittable for all manually operated winches with shaft accessible under deck. The system includes intelligent winch handles and an NFC tag for automatic pairing with the motor that supplies additional torque to the winch to assist the manual operation (same as e bikes).
Sensors in the winch handle measure the applied force from the winch operator and communicates with the motor below deck. A complete system with 4 motors, cabling and a dedicated 48 vdc battery weighs less than 35 kg and may be installed in only one day.
Proxdrive Power System is a power assist system for Sailboat Winches. It is an innovative product developed with support from JYD, the designer of the ClubSwan 50 class of racing yacths.
